‘Gift A Library’ an initiative by Kutchina Foundation, the brainchild of Nita Bajoria, member of Kutchina Foundation aims at giving or at least providing books to kids and develop the habit of reading. In many affluent families, books that have been already read lie in a corner with no further use. This initiative aims at channelising the book to places where they could be read again, it would help a lot of children get access to the magical world of stories and knowledge.
Through ‘Gift a Library’ – we have been able to collect more than 1500 books within a short span of two and a half months. This first project is in a school near Shyambazar that didn’t have a library.
We have done Masti ki pathshala and our next project is St. Stephen’s School Bowbazar.
